Dr Jack Knobel, GP

Dr Jack has been a doctor in the Mornington area for the last 35 years. Though passionate about care for the whole family, he’s especially interest in geriatric health. As well as his own continued medical education, Jack enjoys sharing his experience by training medical students too.

Jack’s an all rounder. When he’s not running, travelling or reading, he’s sizing up an opponent across the chess board. He’s not averse to a TV series binge in quieter moments either.

Dr Mohamed Elsiwy, GP

Dr Mohamed is an experienced GP in the Mornington area, who maintains an interest in medical care for the whole family.

Dr John Spencer, GP

Dr John has been working as a doctor in Mornington for over 30 years. His experience covers every facet of family medicine, including acute care, inpatient hospital treatment, nursing home and convalescent care.

John continues to take an active role in the medical community by training medical students.

Dr Michael Taylor, GP

Dr Michael is interested in medical care for the whole family, with extensive experience as a GP. He also specialises in Paediatric care and skin disease.

In his spare time, Michael might be riding on a bike or horseback, with a passion for all equestrian sports. 

Dr Joe Thoppil, GP

Dr Joe is a keenly interested in all aspects of family medicine. He specialises in skin checks or skin concerns, men’s health and minor surgery. He’s a GP who’s also experienced in helping patients manage chronic diseases such as diabetes. He’s also a practitioner of musculoskeletal medicine to assist with rheumatology, arthritis or back pain.

Outside of the clinic, green-fingered Joe might be found in the garden, on the tennis court or zipping around the Mornington Peninsula on his bike. 

Dr Shastra Naidu, GP

Dr Shastra is a skilled medical professional with experience caring for people of all ages. Shastra’s also keenly interested in women’s health and indigenous health.

Dr Alan Chan, GP

Dr Alan has been practicing as a GP in the Mornington Peninsula for over 30 years. His care is suitable for all family members. He also specialises in nursing home and convalescent care.




Since graduating with her Bachelor of Nursing, Joceline has enjoyed all facets of nursing. Her particular medical specialties are as a nurse immuniser, ear irrigation and wound management. She also has a diploma in practice management.

When she’s not at our Main Street clinic, you might find Joceline running around Mornington or enjoying a beach walk. In quieter moments, she’ll be cooking up a storm, taking a well earned holiday or spending time with loved ones.


Our other Div. 1 nurse is Cassie who specialises in wound care, chronic disease care, veteran care or minor procedures. She’s also experienced and interested in women’s and sexual health.

During her time off, Cassie loves exploring our beautiful Mornington Peninsula’s winerys, foodie scene and markets with her husband. She loves to cook too and spoil her gorgeous dog, Ally.
